It's back to a Colour Combo over at the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog this week and I am loving these colours!
Thought I would try something different and stick with a Christmas theme... and this is what I came up with...
I thought the colours worked very well and gave it a really contemporary Christmas feel!

GoGo Getaway - my final projects...
As promised here are the final projects from my weekend away at the GoGo Getaway, another layout and a Mini Album...
This is a before and after of Lee at the Great North Run in Newcastle..
And finally a Mini Album which I love doing! This class showed us how to use a regular stationery item in scrapbooking... plain manilla envelopes! Really simple to do, punch holes in the closed ends of the envelopes and then put eyelets in each of them. Pick a coordinating range of papers that suit your theme (ours was travel) and cut to size and mount onto each side of the envelope. Stick down your photos. Take something that you can use on the front cover and each page that relates to the theme (ours was a cute stamp of a black cab), and attach this to each page. Journal on some strips of coordinating paper and stick to each page, overlapping the photos. Finally decorate the front and back covers... You can of course add in additional photos or other memorabilia by including them in the envelopes, just mount onto card and include a tab at one end...

GoGo Getaway weekend...
Finally I get round to posting some pics of the fab projects that I did while on the GoGo Getaway weekend recently! It was yet again another lovely weekend of catching up with old friends and also meeting new ones. Over a 2 night/3 day weekend we take 7 x classes but there is also plenty of spare time to get stuck into your own projects... though between chatting and shopping I never seem to get too much extra done... this time I did manage one layout of Lee's very cute godson Oscar!
And here are the projects from the classes I attended...
Firstly a cute layout featuring our lovely godson Freddie...
Then it was another layout with some lovely pics of Oscar... we had fun with mists and masking to create the background on this layout...
Lee and I playing dress up at Jonathan and Bradley's wedding day. As I work with Jonathan I knew it wasn't going to be any sort of regular day and it wasn't, in total we changed clothes four times! These pics were of the 80's Disco and Hoedown Throwdown sections of the day!
This layout features Lee's mum and dad, Sue and Garry when we were in Newcastle to support Lee in the Great North Run, this pic was taken after the run at South Shields when we went for a walk along the beach...
And the final layout to show you is one of Lee and I after we were married last year in Las Vegas, we had a photo shoot in the grounds of the MGM Grand where we had the ceremony...

Simply Stampin' Challenge - Theme
This week's challenge over at the Simply Stampin' Challenge blog was to make something along the theme of 'Leafy'. But when I had a look I don't actually have too many Stampin' Up! stamp sets with leaves in them, however 'Autumn Days' which is one of their older sets has a lovely little maple leaf that I thought would work well as a Christmas wreath so this is what I came up with...
Went with a not so typical Christmas colour way and really like how it turned out!
Products used (all by Stampin' Up! unless specified):Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso
Ink: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso
Accessories: Modern Label Punch, Word Window, Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Early Espresso 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Pearls
Stamp Sets: Autumn Days, Teeny Tiny Wishes
