This week's Being Scrappy Kit had some fab papers from Studio Calico and Crate Paper to play with... the colours were perfect for this photo of Lee taken a few years ago...
I used the striped paper as the main background, now I didn't gut it but you could if you wish.
Next cut two 1.5" x 9" strips from the blue Bazzill and stick down in an 'L' shape to the right of the layout.
Cut a 9" x 9" piece of the lime green patterned paper and layer over the blue Bazzill to the left.
Then cut two 0.75" x 12" strips of the aqua patterned paper and stick to the right side and the bottom of the layout.
Layer the manufacturer's strip from the striped paper over the bottom strip of aqua patterned paper.
Mount a 7" x 5" photo onto blue Bazzill and stick down.
I added some buttons from my own stash to the right of the layout. Use some of the word stickers from the Prima alpha that comes with the Kit to embellish the left side of the photo and next to the buttons.
Add some journaling in the space on the blue Bazzill at the bottom of the layout.
Finish off with a title, I used a combo of the Prima alpha and a Thickers one from my own stash.
