Hi Everyone!
This week's Kit contained the lovely summery 'Collectable' papers and stickers by My Mind's Eye. I had some sweet photos of Lee and his godson Oscar taken during a visit to a local park.
I used the small floral 'Memo' paper for my base.
Cut an 8.5" x 9" piece of the yellow patterned 'Love This' paper, ink the edge with brown ink and stick down to the left side of the layout.
Next cut a 2.75" x 9" piece of the red patterned 'Cute' paper, ink the edges and stick down towards the bottom of the yellow patterned paper.
Cut a 1" x 8.5" piece of the blue Bazzill and punch a decorative border along one edge. Stick down just below the yellow patterned paper. Add a 8.5" strip of the fancy ribbon from the Kit just over the join.
Attach two 6" x 4" photos, mount one of them onto the blue Bazzill.
Cut a 2.5" x 3.5 piece of the blue Bazzill, ink the edges and stick down to the right of the layout just overlapping the edge of the right photo. Add some journaling.
Next cut out some flowers from the 'Cute' paper and stick down to the layout, curling up the petals as you go. Add the button from the Kit (tie with some twine) to the top flower.
Select some of the matching stickers from the Kit and add to the layout.
Finish off with a title, mine was from my own stash.

June Week 3 layout for Being Scrappy...
Morning Everyone!
This week I got to play with the Echo Park 'All About a Boy' range of papers and embellishments. So of course I had to scrap some boy photos... these are of my very good friend Andrea's little boy Joe playing with fun foam stickers - all the makings of a crafter!
I used the beige Bazzill cardstock as the base for the layout. Then cut a 7" x 9.75" piece of the Chevron Stripe paper, ink the edges with brown ink and stick down to the right side of the layout.
Next cut a 1" x 5.5" strip from the Journaling Cards paper (have a look at the photo to see the piece I mean) to tuck under a 7" x 10" piece of the Journaling Cards paper (blue side). Don't forget to ink the edges of both pieces before sticking down!
Cut a 1" a 12" strip of the Adventure paper, ink the edges and stick down at the bottom of the blue patterned paper. Cut another strip 1.5" x 8.5" of the Adventure paper, ink the edges and stick down at the top of the blue patterned paper.
Add your photos, mine were three all cropped to approx. 3.5" x 4".
Cut a few small strips of the patterned papers, ink the edges and stick in the top left of the layout. I added some alphabet washi tape (from my own stash), to the top left and below the photos.
Use some of the fun brads that come with the Kit to embellish the top left, the strip to the left of the photos and the bottom right of the layout.
Add some journaling at the bottom of the layout, and finish off with a title (my alpha was from my own stash).
Have a look here at the two fab layouts Niki came up with from this week's Kit. If you would like to buy the Kit pop on over to Being Scrappy and check out the fab monthly subscription offer.

I went to one of Niki's card classes yesterday and we made 4 lovely cards and a notelet...

June Week 2 layout for Being Scrappy...
Hi Everyone!
I got to play with the fab new paper range 'Wishes & Dreams' from Prima in this week's Being Scrappy Kit. Great colour combo of yellow, aqua and chocolate... love it! I used a couple of photos of the girls in pedal boats at my hen do in 2010.
I used the yellow Bazzill for the base of my layout. Just don't cut it up my mistake to start with like I did - if you look close you can probably see where I joined it back together!
Cut a 3" x 10" strip of the aqua 'Invincible' paper, ink the edges with brown ink and stick down to the left side of the layout.
Next cut a 7" x 10" piece of the diamond patterned 'Invincible' paper, ink the edges with brown ink and stick down to the right side of the layout.
Cut a 4.75" x 12" piece of the brown Bazzill, punch a border in one of the long edges and stick down. Then mount two 6" x 4" photos to it.
Punch two 1.5" circles from brown Bazzill and one from the 'Invincible' paper, ink the edges and stick down in the positions shown on the main photo.
Cut a 2.5" x 0.5" strip of the brown Bazzill and punch a border, layer this on the top circle with a piece of washi tape (from my own stash).
Cut 3 x flowers from the 'Things to Come' paper and attach to the circles with foam pads.
Add the main title to the right side of the layout, I used a Thickers alpha from my own stash.
Take one of the mini envelopes that come with the Kit and fold it up and stick together, then attach to the layout beneath the main title. I attached some mini alphas from my own stash to finish off the title.
Have a look at Niki's blog to see what she has come up with this week. You can buy the Kit for a limited time and if you like what you see then there is a great value monthly subscription that Niki offers here.
