Hi Everyone!
I have been doing Document 2013 with my crafty friend Niki who is running a monthly class and I haven't actually got round to blogging any of it until now! So I will do a blog post each week until I am caught up and will then show it monthly once I have completed the class.
The title page for Document 2013...
Here is January... just getting into the swing of remembering to take photos was hard to start with. Plus January was a slow month and we didn't seem to do much!
The calendar page...
The divided plastic pockets...
The focus layout for the month...
I will be back with February next week...

May Week 5 layout for Being Scrappy...
Morning Everyone!
This week I had the pretty 'Collectable' papers from My Mind's Eye to play with and I found a couple of cute photos of little Oscar and Lucy playing together that went nicely with them.
I started with the pink Bazzill as my base and then cut a 11" x 11" piece of the 'Hello' paper that I stuck centrally to the Bazzill. You could gut the Bazzill first if you want to, I didn't need any of the pink card so didn't need to.
Next cut an 8" x 8.5" piece of the 'Note' paper and stick down to the right side of the layout.
I trimmed two 6" x 4" photos down to 5.25" x 4", mount one on the pale aqua Bazzill and attach both to the layout.
Choose one of the journaling cards from the 'Journey' paper and stick down to the left side of the photos.
Cut a couple of strips from any of the papers (1" x 9" and 0.5" x 11"), punch a border in the shorter strip and stick down them both below the photos. Add a 10" piece of the ribbon and layer over the strips.
I added a layered sticker that came from another Kit but did match the papers.
Finish off with a title, mine came from my own stash.
Have a look here to see the layouts that Niki came up with... and you can find the Kit here for a limited time.

Mini Album No. 3...
Evening Everyone!
The final mini album that I made while on hols in Lanzarote...luckily I have a husband who loves to lay in the sun while I sit in the shade scrapping! This one features my best friend's 5 year old daughter Amy and photos she took when we were visiting. I let her borrow my camera and it was funny watching her get people to pose for her! I wrote the journaling as if it was Amy writing it.
So that's it for mini albums for now... don't forget to check in on Wed to see what I came up with from this week's Being Scrappy Kit!
Thanks for looking!

May Week 4 layout for Being Scrappy...
Morning Everyone!
This week's Being Scrappy Kit had a fab selection of papers from Echo Park, My Mind's Eye and Studio Calico to play with. I had a good pic of Lee and his brother Sam after a 10k run they did in 2009 that I had been waiting to scrap.
I used the cream Bazzill as the base for the layout. Then I cut a 9" x 9.5" piece of the Studio Calico paper to go on the right side of the layout. Before sticking it down punch a fancy border in a 1" x 9.5" strip of red Bazzill and tuck this under the top edge of the Studio Calico paper and stick both down.
Cut a 3.25" x 12" piece of the red Bazzill and layer this with a 3" x 12" piece of the My Mind's Eye paper and stick down.
Next cut a 3.5" x 9.5" piece of the Echo Park paper and stick down.
Mount a photo onto red Bazzill. Mine was a 7" x 5" photo that I cropped to 6.25" x 4.5" but you could easily use a 6" x 4" or 7" x 5" photo if you wanted.
Add some journaling on strips of the Studio Calico paper and stick below the photo.
I added a title using alphas from my own stash. Finish off with a few of the butterflies that came with the Kit.
You can get this fab Kit for a limited time here.... pop on over to Niki's blog to see the layouts she came up with up!

May Week 3 layout for Being Scrappy...
Morning Everyone!
This week's Being Scrappy Kit was full of lovely bright Amy Tangerine 'Sketchbook' papers from American Crafts! I had been waiting to scrap these photos for a while and this Kit was just the thing.
I started with the 'Gwyneth's Graph' paper as the base for my layout.
Cut two 1" x 12" strips of the pink Bazzill and punch a decorative border in each one. Then cut a 3.5" x 12" piece of the 'Magenta Musings' paper. Finally take the green grid manufacturers strip from 'Magenta Musings' and cut in half lengthways. Layer these up as shown in the photo.
I mounted a 7" x 5" photo onto the pink Bazzill and then stuck this down along with a 6" x 4" photo.
Next I stapled a small strip of the pink Bazzill to the top of the tag that came with the Kit, then attached it with foam pads to the left side of the layout. I added some journaling with a mini Alpha that came with a previous Kit.
Add some written journaling to strips of pink Bazzill and stick down just below the photo.
Finish off with a title, I used some Alphas from my own stash.
Pop on over to Niki's blog to see the fab layouts she has made with the Kit. This Kit is available for a limited time here, you can find a great value monthly subscription offer that Niki offers.

Mini Album No. 1...
Evening Everyone!
While Lee and I were on holidays recently in Lanzarote I managed to get some scrapping in, well quite a bit to be honest! I made three mini albums and added a few extra finishing touches on the weekend, so here is the first one which features our visit to Longleat Safari Park last year with our godson Freddie and his parents. I used a mix of papers but the main ones were by Bo Bunny as were the chipboard lion and 'Zoo' on the front.
The cover...
The inside pages...
I folded the map end covered it with the ostrich photo (see above pic)...
I will post the second mini album next week... featuring my sister-in-law's Hen Do!
Thanks for looking!
