Simply Stampin' Challenge #60 - Theme

Hi Everyone!

Thanks so much for sending in your entries to last week's Simply Stampin' Colour Challenge, we had some fab designs which always makes it hard to choose a top 3!

This week's challenge was to create something to the theme....

Monochrome (with a splash of colour!)

When I thought monochrome I decided I wanted to go with gray and use the spotlighting technique to add a splash of colour to the stamped image so this is what I came up with...

Did you notice that my design was based on the Sketch from Week #55!

Products used (all by Stampin' Up! unless specified):
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Ink: Regal Rose, Basic Gray
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch, Modern Label Punch, Regal Rose Taffeta Ribbon
Stamp Sets: Creative Elements, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Why don't you give it a go and send in an entry to this week's Challenge, don't worry if you don't have a blog as we do accept email entries!

Thanks for looking!
Kirei x

  1. I love this colour combo, that had to be one of my fav sketches too! I keep all the printouts of our past sketches in a folder so I can flip through and use them later when I get stuck!
Great technique, I haven't tried this one yet, works perfectly for this challenge!

  3. What a beautiful card Kirei, the Regal Rose with grey & white is so soft, pretty & feminine. Fab use of the spotlighting technique! Ruth x
