March Week 2 layout for Being Scrappy...

Hi Everyone!

I was loving the honeycomb patterned papers in this week's Being Scrappy Kit from the Cashmere Dame range by Glitz and the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook range from American Crafts. What was even better I had the perfect photos to go with them... my 'chicken wire men' from Newstead Abbey!

I used the red Bazzill as the base for my layout. Cut a 9.5" x 10.25" piece of the 'Honeycomb' paper and round the top two corners, I cut around the bottom row of honeycomb shapes and stuck down centrally to the red Bazzill.

Then cut two 7.5" x 1" strips from the turquoise 'Cobalt Composition' paper and round two of the corners on each strip, stick down towards the top and bottom of the 'Honeycomb' paper.

Next cut a 10.25" x 6.75" piece from the 'Chevron' paper and round the top two corners. Attach to the 'Honeycomb' paper making sure you cover the bottom and top edges of the turquoise paper strips.

Stick down three portrait 6" x 4" photos (mine were trimmed to 6" x 3.5") to the 'Chevron' paper leaving just a small border around the sides and tops of the photos.

Cut a 7.75" x 0.5" strip of the 'Chevron' paper and stick to the bottom of the 'Honeycomb' paper. Attach three of the brads that come with the Kit. Add your journalling to the bottom piece of turquoise 'Cobalt Composition' paper.

Cut a small banner and attach with a brad between the second and third photos. Finish off with a title, I raided my stash for these!
