Simply Stampin' Challenge #57 - Theme

Hi Everyone!

This week at the Simply Stampin' Challenge we have another Theme to inspire you....

Perfect Pairs

I couldn't decide on what to do with this one to start with, so there I was pulling out all of my stamp sets to see what was the best image to use as a pair... I ended up going back to a favourite Christmas stamp set of mine, Delightful Decorations and this is what I came up with...

Simply Stampin' Challenge #56 - Colour

The last GoGoGetaway layouts!

Hi Everyone!

Finally I get round to posting the last lot of layouts from the classes I did at GoGoGetaway in March!

The fifth class was 'Cotton and Calico Chronicles' with Sheena Rowlands and we made her fab mini album using homemade masks so lots of spritzing and getting messy! I had the perfect photos to use from the tree planting that we did in February.

The sixth class was 'Faux Flux' with the lovely Sam Ball again and for this layout I used one of our wedding photos...

Yes, they are real dice!

The final class was 'TV Times' with Lorraine and I had a cute photo of Lee with his godson Oscar...

I did one of the GoGo challenges where we had to make a layout using only the scraps from the classes we had and the group photo we had taken outside...

So that is all of my GoGoGetaway layouts!

Pages of Memories layouts

Hi Everyone!

I haven't posted my DT layouts for Pages of Memories for a little while so here are the last 3 that I did....

The first one was using the lovely and bright 'Lime Twist' papers from My Minds Eye. I had a cute photo of my friend Nicki and her daughter Phoebe that went perfectly...

My next layout was made using the fab Echo Park 'This and That' range and I had a great photo of my brother-in-law and his fiance on the TV while at Wimbledon. I was watching it and the cameras did such a close up shot that I spotted them, so as I was recording it I went back afterwards and took a photo!

My final layout was from the lovely Prima 'Cornwall' papers and I had a lovely photo of my friend Andrea and her son Joe that I thought went perfectly.... it just goes to show that pink can work for a boy!

Simply Stampin' Challenge #55 - Sketch

Hi Everyone!

So this week over at Simply Stampin' Challenge we are back with my favourite challenge... a Sketch! And this is what we had to work with....

I decided to use an old favourite stamp set 'Flight of the Butterfly' and paired it up with some of the lovely Stampin' Up! Brights colours. This is how it ended up...

More GoGoGetaway March 2012...

Hi Everyone!

As promised here are a couple more of the classes that we did at the fab GoGoGetaway weekend...

The third class was with the lovely Sam Ball and her 'Shelf of Memories' class. I picked a photo of me from a photo shoot by Kirsty Wiseman that was taken at one of last years Getaways.

The fourth class of the weekend was back with Nicola for a bit of spraying/misting through cutlery! My pic was taken when we were in Vienna last year and visited the Cafe Sacher which is the home of the original sacher torte!

There are still more layouts to share but I will save these for later in the week!

GoGoGetaway March 2012

Hi Everyone!

I was away with Niki at the fabulous GoGoGetaway scrapbooking retreat last weekend. We get to spend from Friday 6.30pm until Sunday 4.30pm just scrapping! Over the course of the weekend we attend 7 classes and then spend our free time finishing off the class projects or working on our own layouts! It's also a chance to catch up with other scrapping friends... Rachel and the two Wendys which is always lovely :-)

My first class 'Magic Roundabout' with Nicola Kerridge was a fab mini album and I had the perfect photos of our godson Freddie's 1st Birthday to go in it...

The second class was 'Life's A Beach' with Rebekah Day. I used some cute photos of  our friend's Chris and Amy's two girls, Sophie and Hannah at the beach near their house in Devon ...

I will post the rest of my classes later this week!
